NUTRITONAL THERAPY – The Foundation of optimum health
WHAT IS NUTRITIONAL THERAPY?
Nutritional Therapy uses nutrition and health science to enable you to maximise your health potential. At its core, Nutritional Therapy uses food to enhance the body’s natural healing abilities. It also seeks to make a person aware of how diet and lifestyle choices can have a positive or negative effect on health.
In my practice, I recognise that you are an individual with unique dietary and nutritional requirements. We all have a different health history and this history may be affecting how you feel today. The first consultation is designed to identify factors from before birth to the present day, that may be affecting you now, with the aim of treating the problem from its root cause.
As our health is inextricably linked to what we eat, a healthy, well-balanced diet promotes a healthy body and mind. However, food is just one aspect of health and so where necessary Irene may suggest other therapies to maximise the effect of your healthy diet.
